Asus N550JV
If you are a gamer or
a graphics designer, you will surely like this laptop. This laptop can be used
for business and for the price why not. The $1066 4th generation of
this laptop comes with I7 CPU, NVIDIA Graphics, a quad speaker system and an
attractive looking IPS touch system. This is the type of laptop that anyone can
use for all types of purpose. Although this is a 4th generation, you
can probably find a bargain for it in the market today. This is a strong and
good looking laptop. It is quite impressive and when you touch it you’ll feel
the smoothness of it. Be careful because this laptop/notebook is susceptible to
stains. Take good care of this laptop. It has a silver aluminum surface that
highlights the two speakers located at the top and dots that make an impact by encircling
an instant button on the left and a power button on the right. If you want to
modify the instant button, you can do this and it will launch any application that
you like. It is equipped with an Asus console that will do it. It has a number
pad, a LED back Keyboard, a touchpad that measures 4.5 x 2.9 inch. This laptop
comes with a phalanx of indicators. The keys are colored silver. This is
something, because I have not seen keys that are colored silver. Probably, they
just want to match the overall platform of this laptop/notebook. The Asus N550JV
measures 12.08 x 10.04 x 1.09. It just a bit bigger and a little overweight
than it’s competitors.
The ASUS N550JV
has a resolution of ( 1920 x 1080 ) and an 15. 6 inch IPS touchscreen will give
any person an excellent view for any user who wants to wants to watch movies.
The colors are just so lucid and sharp. It has great viewing angles. The 10
point touch screen does a good job when you are using it. You might even prefer
it to the keyboard. That’s my personal guess only. It has a strong hinge and
that’s why the screen won’t move when you nudge it. You can turn over the screen
back 180 degrees. It has quadruple speakers. This is the kind of experience you
will like and it feels like you are in a movie house. The audio is quite loud.
This laptop/notebook is equipped with the Bang & Olufsen ICEpower that has
a lot of intensity. You can attach the ASUS N series subwoofer and there will be
a bit of improvement in the sounds. It does also have a sound management software
called Wave MaxxAudio which gives the sound a medium boost when you are
watching movies. This laptop/notebook has a roomy chiclet style keyboard and t
has adaptable LED backlighting that is bright enough. The touchpad that
measures 4.2 x 2.9 is also roomy and reacts so well when using Windows 8. Included
in the package is the Smart Gesture software and it can be used for switching
to different commands This laptop/notebookt was designed to prevent it from overheating and that
is why it has dual fans, twin heat pipes, and vents for the purpose of sending
the heat somewhere else so that the machine will not be affected.
The HD camera takes
vivid colored pictures and it does adapt to different lighting conditions. On the
left side of the laptop/notebook you will find a bevy of ports for power,
Ethernet, mini display port, HDMI, 2 USB ports, a yellow jack for the subwoofer
and also for the headphone/microphone jack. On the right side you will find a
Kensington lock port, a DVD multi recorder drive, another USB 3.0 port and an
SD card slot. This is powered by a 4th generation 2.4 GHz Intel Core
i7-4700 HQ processor that has 8 GB of RAM and it will give any user a very
pleasing performance. The ASUS N550JV NVIDIA Optimus technology spontaneously
switches by itself between it’s integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600 to the NVIDIA
GeForce GT 750M processors. It all depends on the job you are doing. The Battery life should be longer because it
only averages almost 5 hours. If you are doing intensive work outside your
house, be sure you bring your charger. This review of the Asus N550JV-DB72T comes
with a touchscreen cost $1066. It has a 2.4 GHz Intel Core i7-4700HQ processor,
8GB of RAM 1TB 5,400rpm SATA hard drive. NVIDIA GeForce GTM 750 GPU and a DVD
drive. The other one without a touch screen has the same specifications cost
$979. This is the Asus N550JV-DB71T. As for
me if you like this laptop/notebook because it fits your needs, I suggest you
get the one with the touch screen. There’s not much of a difference when it
comes to costs.
