ASUS VivoBooK E403SA

The ASUSViIvoBook is a 14 inch budget notebook that is so light and has a nice looking design This notebook comes with a smooth aluminum lid that looks good. The laptop’s keyboard deck is made from a metal - looking plastic. It has 2 small tabs that bulge out at the back of the hinge. What it does is that it stops the lid from having scratches that may occur when placed on top of flat surfaces. The ASUS VivoBo E403SA measures 0.7 inches thick and weighs 3.8 pounds. This is quite thin and light when compared to other notebooks that are in it’s bracket. With the VivoBook E403SA comes with 2 full sized  USB ports ( One of these ports can run at a full 3.0 speed ), an HDMl  port, a nicely polished USB  Type –C that can be used for stronger charging. This notebook comes with a regular AC adapter. It also has a SD card slot that can do fast uploads of images from a digital camera. The Vivo BooK E403SA has a 0.3 megapixel camera
The ASUS VIvoBook E403SA’s 14 inch 1920 x 1080 has a sharp display. What dampens it is the is the matte TN panel that has viewing angles that lacks depth. It it is not the brightest available in the market. It could have been a little brighter. Remember that this is a budget notebook that costs $400. There must have been some tradeoffs. The Asus VivoBook E403SA still can produce 68.5 percent  sRGB spectrum, which is the almost the same as other 14 inch notebooks. The VivoBook E403SA’s display excretes 201 nits ( nits are measurements of brightness ). This is at par with other budget notebooks.

Usually, budget notebooks have  thinner models that tend to have mediocre keyboards. This  make typing quite hard. This is not so for the ASUS VivoBook. Typing on the keypad is quite pleasant. The shape of each letter is just right. If you compare the trackpad with other budget notebooks, it is quite better. This budget notebook has enough space to scroll on. This notebook uses the enhanced sonic master audio. The Battery life does last a full 9 hours. This is very good when you compare this to other budget notebooks. The notebook remains cool. It will feel a bit warm if you place it on your lap.

This budget notebook has the following specs: Intel Pentium N3700 Quad core processor, 4 GB of Ram, 128 GB eMMC flash storage, 14 inch HD ( 1920 x 1080 ) matte display non-touch, WIFI/AC/Bluetooth 4.1 The N3700 is not the fastest processor but it has a lot of power to do a lot of tasks. Even then for the price of $400 you are getting a good deal.
