The 15 Inch MacBook Pro 2016

The 15 inch MacBook is a very powerful handy notebook computer and it comes with quad core processors, discrete graphics. There are 2 kinds of graphic processors discrete and integrated. A discrete graphic processor means that there is a separate processor anything that is done using graphics. Integrated  -  means that it shares resources with the CPU to do work that needs graphics.  This is one factor that makes the MacBook Pro rather distinct than other notebook computers. Because it has an improved CPU, GPU and SSD, Apple is revealing to the public that the MacBook Pro 15 inch is 130 percent faster in it’s performance using it’s 3D graphics. For gaming purposes it becomes 60 percent faster. It is 57 percent faster when video editing is being done. This is a lot and far much better than it’s previous models.

The Apple 15 inch MacBook Pro has included the latest Skylake processors. With this it gives the MacBook Pro a lot of speed without losing efficiency. The basic models include 2.6 or 2.7 GHz quad core intel i7 processors. The 15 inch MacBook Pro models are equipped 16 GB of 2133MHz LPDDR3 RAM and this is a better than the previous models because it is faster. The MacBook Pro is limited to 16 GB of Ram because Intel’s Skylake processors do not support the LPDDR4 RAM. If they had used 32 GB of Ram , it’s battery life will be shortened and the space for the batter will have to be reduced. This I believe is unthinkable.

The 15 inch MacBook pro has a built – in Intel HD Graphics 530 and it also has discrete graphic cards from AMD. Th Mac Book pro uses the Radeon 450 and 455. Each of with comes with 2 GB of VRAM. They are both used in the two basic machines. One thing nice about this spectacular notebook is that the two graphic cards will maximize the battery life. The lower power integrated card will be used for work that is not intensive. The Radeon Pro will come into use when the work being done needs more  GPU like video editing or when you have to generate 3D images. The Radeon Pro is built on a 14 – nanometer process and it gives up to 2.5x more computing power watts. The AMD graphic chips gives a remarkable performance and better improvements than the previous models. The Radeon 455 which is used in the higher end MacBook Pro has shown outstanding improvements when compared to the 2015 models.

The Mac Book Pro has a solid state drive that was given a huge upgrade. Apple says that it is so fast with uninterrupted read speeds that reaches 3.1 Gigabytes and read speed that go as far as 2.2 Gigabytes. This is 2 times faster than the SSD of the 2015 MacBook Pro. All I can say is WOW. The storage space is 256 GB for the entry level machine but this can be upgraded to 2TB. The solid state drive in in the 15 inch MacBook Pro cannot be upgraded because it has been soldered to the logic board .  It definitely cannot be upgraded. The camera in the MacBook Pro has not been upgraded. It still uses the 720 Face Time HD camera.  The Battery of the Apple 15 inch can be used all day. It has 10 hours of of wireless usage. You can use up to 10 hours on iTunes movie playback.  The battery has a 76 watt – hour lithium polymer battery. The charger used is an 87W USB – C Power Adapter. The MacBook Pro 2016 are supported by the 802.11ac WI – FI and Bluetooth 4.2

There are two 15 inch Mac Book Pro models. Both of them have touch bars, touch ID and four Thunderbolt 3 ports and are available in two patterns. The machine that comes with a 2. 6 GHz quad core i7 Sky lake processor, 16 GB 2133 MHz Ram, 256GB SSD, Radeon Pro 450 with 2GB memory
cost $2,399. The other machine that comes with a 2. 7 GHz quad – core i7 Skylake processor, 16 GB 2133 MHz RAM, 512 GB SSD, Radeon 455 with 2 GB memory cost $2,799.
