HP EliteBook 1030 G1

   The HP EliteBook 1030 G1is a business notebook gives you good tractability because it is so easy to handle and work with. This machine has the strength to handle business workloads. It is really a first class machine because working on it is so easy. The keyboard is sturdy and the performance is quite good. There are three configurations for this Elitebook. The entry level is $1200 while the configuration discussed in this article cost $1500 and the higher rank model cost $1870. This particular model comes with a Core m5-6y54processor, 8GB of RAM, a 256 SSD and a full HD ( 1920 x1080 ) non-touch screen. display. Here are the general specifications of the HP EliteBook 1030 G1:  ( 1 ) Windows 10 Operating System. ( 2 ) Two kinds of processors (  6th generation  Intel Core m7 or m5 processors ). ( 3 ) Intel HD graphics 515.  ( 4 ) Choose from these screen types ( 13.3  inch diagonal QHD+eDP ( 3200 x 1080 ) touch or 13.3 inch diagonal FHD EDP 1.3 or (1920 x1080 ) Touch display.  ( 5 ) You have a choice of  Solid State Drives up to 512GB. ( 6 ) Memory is 16GB. ( 7 ) The weight for a for a non-touch screen is 2.55 pounds and the weight for a touch screen is 2.56 pounds. ( 8 ) The keyboard is spill-resistant, backlit keyboard with drain and function keys. ( 9 ) It has clickpad with gestures support ( 10 ) 720p webcam ( 11 ) Audio by Bang & Olufsen with integrated speakers . ( 12 )  For Connectivity purposes the HP EliteBook 1030 G1 comes with Intel 820.11 a/b/g/n/ac WI-FI and Bluetooth 4.2 combo. HP said that is passed the MIL STD tests.
The HP EliteBook 1030 G1 13.3 inch delivers substantial colors and attributes. It is bright but it could have been brighter. This notebook gives out 116 percent of SRGB gamut and this is above the category average of 98 percent. The display dishes out 239 nits and this is below the category average of of 302 nits. The HP EliteBook 1030 G1 has wide viewing angles. This particular ultrabook has a nicely built design. I would consider it a show-off design. It comes with a nice silver color. The aluminum deck and lid has a very a nice touch to it. This particular notebook has a nice thin bezel and well-polished sloping edges. This is what makes this EliteBook attractive. The HP EliteBook 1030 G1 has a complete set of ports and slots. On the left side, you find a a security lock, HDMI port, USB 3.0 port, a data only USB Type-C port. On the right side you will find the power port. The headphone jack, second USB 3.0 port and docking connector. The fingerprint scanner is located at the right side of the keyboard. This ultrabook comes with a TPM ( Trusted Platform Module ) and it’s job is to protect the notebook’s hardware. This particular configuration comes with a vPro chip which allows encrypted storage of important substance. The HP EliteBook 1030 G1also comes with the HP Sure START technology and it will protect any attack intended on the System’s BIOS. The keyboard is pleasant because the keys are very responsive. The keys make-up for the shortage of travel on the keyboard.. The average is 1.5 mm while this ultrabook ticks at 1.4 mm.. The touchpad has a measurement of 3.6 x2.1 inches and delivers precise tracking  while navigating is going on. The Audio speakers are located on top of the HP EliteBook 1030 G1 keyboard’s deck. The sounds coming out from the speakers are of good quality. 
   This particular configuration can handle a moderately large amount of multitasking. In the Geekbench 3 performance test, this ultrabook produced 5,739 points and it is just above the category average of 5,523 points. The 256GB SSD is quite fast and it can transfer 4.97GB of files in 35 seconds.  It records a transfer rate of 145MBps. It still does not match the category average of 173.01 MBps. In the OpenOffice Macro test, this ultrabook managed to finish matching names in 4 minutes and 32 seconds. It is faster than the category average of six minutes and thirty twoseconds. On the Storm Unlimited graphics test the HP EliteBook 1030 G1 scored 59,071 points and it is above the category average of 51,805 points. The 0.9 megapixel camera is good for taking selfie shots and the other details are bearable. The Battery life is good for about nine hours. Just remember that this is a business notebook and I personally would not use this UltraBook for intensive gaming purposes.
