The ZTE Axon 7 has it’s own unique design that sets it apart from the others. The body is made of aluminum that is well polished. The screen of this phone has curved edges.  On the front of this smartphone is a 5.5 inch AMOLED Display panel that is surrounded by a black border that goes all the way to the edges. You can spot triangular cutouts up and below it. This marks off the two stereo speakers on this smartphone. On top of the bottom grille, the user will find three touch sensitive buttons. They are used for navigating purposes. These are the back, home and a shortcut button to go straight to the multitasking menu. The ZTE Axon 7 also has beautiful backside. On the center of the backside you will see the camera lens, flash, and fingerprint sensor. The logos of this phone can be spotted below. On the sides you will find the power button, volume rocker and a merger of SIM/ Micro SD card tray that has the same color of the phone. The AMOLED screen Display on this phone is really clear. The audio on this phone sounds really good.  What’s good about this smartphone is it put a lot of it’s attention on the audio system. It has 2 audio chips, the AKM AK4961and AKM AK4490. These chips provide good support for HI-FI and audio playback through headphones, loudspeakers, and front facing speakers. The ZTE Axon 7 uses the Dolby Atmos Technology. The rear camera has 20 megapixels that comes with an f/1.8 aperture that controls phase detection autofocus. The result is that it locks in the focus quickly. It comes with a Optical Image Stabilization and this neutralizes the effects of hand shaking while taking pictures. It has high dynamic range that enhances brightness and color contrast. The front 8 megapixel camera is good for taking selfies and videos too. The pictures on this smartphone are good.  It could have been better if only the manufacturers exerted more effort.
The ZTE Axon 7 has a lot of speed. You can use it with a lot of apps, do multitasking and it will not bog down. This smartphone did quite well in two benchmark tests.  In the Antutu test, it had a score of 142,672. In the Geekbench 4 single core test, this smartphone had a score of 1,694. These scores are above the normal averages.  If you are talking about performance, this smartphone does it’s job. The battery on the ZTE Axon 7 is bigger than some of the smartphones out there. The battery can last for at least a day. If you are going to use it intensively for games and streaming then the hours will be reduced.   For the price and performance, this a good smartphone to acquire.
