What Is Cloud Computing and How Does It Work.

Cloud Computing is a method using a network of remote servers hosted on the Internet to store and process data. It does not use a local server or the hard drive on your computer. The cloud is a metaphor or what we call a symbol. It is an implied comparison of what areal cloud does.  It makes data accessing mechanisms more productive, effective and reliable. It depends mostly on the sharing of resources to make it more rational. The nice thing about cloud computing is that it allows companies and individuals to use and utilize a computed resource like a virtual machine, storage or an application. It is like consuming any utility like electricity. Using cloud means that you don’t need to build any kind of infrastructure in your house. This is quite costly.
You may not know it but you yourself might be using cloud computing services already. It is possible you are using cloud computing because you are using online services like sending emails , editing documents, watching your favorite show whether TV or movies. You may be even be listening to music, storing pictures, files and even playing games. Cloud Computing can make this possible because it can be working behind the scenes. Companies that are just starting and those that have been there for quite a time have been using Cloud Computing.  There are so many things that Cloud computing can accomplish.

Here are several things that it can do:

1. Keep data, back it up and recover data.
2. Useful for streaming audio and video.
3. It can be a source to host websites and blogs.
4.  It can bring and deliver software on demand.
   Kinds of Cloud Computing services:

1. SaaS - It allows users to interact with software that is hosted on the cloud and not on the platform or in the infrastructure it is running on.
2. PaaS - It allows users to position and develop applications.
3. IaaS - It is the infrastructure that runs and powers the cloud.
Using these three kinds of services  can help companies save on time and cash in positioning, maintaining hardware and software. They keep users connected and work is done in a collective manner.

Here are the Different Kinds of Cloud Deployment:

1. Hybrid Cloud - It is composed of two or more different cloud infrastractures. It can be  private, community or public. They are unique entities but they are tied together by standardized or proprietary  technology that allows data and application portability.
3 Private Cloud -This cloud infrastructure is for the exclusive use of a single company or organization. It can be managed by one entity, third party or both of them. It can function on or off premises.
3. Community Cloud  - The cloud  infrastructure is for the exclusive use of a particular community of consumers  from organizations that have common concerns. It  can be owned managed, and operated by one or more of the organizations that comprises the community. It can function on or off premises.
4. Public Cloud  - This cloud infrastructure caters to the general public. It can be owned, managed and operated by business, government organization or a combination of both. It functions on the premises of the cloud provider.

Cloud computing services all work in a different way and it all depends on the provider. Most of them  provide a friendly based dashboard. This way, it makes it easier for IT professionals and developers to order resources plus manage their accounts. There are some Cloud computing services that have been designed to work with REST API’s  ( based  on Representational Transfer Technology ). It is an architectural style and approach to communications f ten used in web services. It also works with a command-line interface ( CLI ) giving developers a lot of options.
