Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 260

The Lenovo Thinkpad series has been known to use an adaptable and flip back design that is quite strong and easy to use.. This 12.5 inch continues the custom of using a classy keyboard, a precise touchpad and a strong stylus into a slim 2.9 pound chassis. The laptop model mentioned here cost $1320. It  gives you a solid and efficient production output. Here are the following configurations of this model. The processor is a 2.3 GHz Intel Core 15-6200U processor and comes with an Windows 10 Pro Operating system. The RAM is 8GB and can be upgraded to 16 GB. The Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 260 has a hard drive size of 256GB SSD. It’s display size is 12.5 inches and comes with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. It uses the Intel Graphics 520 and has an Intel Band Wireless-AC 8260 Wi-FI model plus a Bluetooth 4.1. The touchpad size is 6 x 2.2 inches. Lenovo ThinPad Yoga 260 has several ports : the OneLink plus, HDMI, Mini Display, 2 USB ports, a microSD card slot. It’s weight is 2.0 pounds. It uses the same aesthetic design like most of Lenovo’s business laptops. This laptop has a shiny black color. it’s framework. It gets some splatter of colors coming from it’s revealing red light that is located on the Thinkpad’s logo and  on the lid and deck, also from  the red TrackPoint nubs  and button. There are 2 sturdy hinges that allows the screen to flip back to a full 360 degrees. This is useful when you are making a presentation. You can turn it to a tent or even a tablet. It comes with lift and lock keyboard which makes the keys go downward beneath the base and it cannot be pressed when the screen rotates back to it’s usual mode.. This laptop is composed of lightweight hybrid carbon-fiber materials that is on the lid and magnesium plastic mixture. This is a well- built laptop because it has passed 15 different kinds of MIL_Spec strength tests. This includes tests for severe temperatures, vibrations, altitudes and shocks.. The keyboard is spill resistant. The design also comes in a silvered colored framework.

The Lenovo ThinPad Yoga 260’s 12.5 inch 1920 x 1080 gives out clear images and good viewing angles. My only concern is that Lenovo must improve on it’s color output.. It only produces 68.5 percent sRGB gamut while the category average is at 82.5 percent. Though it is not vivid , it still  has a score of 328 nits of brightness and this is above the category average of 308 7 nits. It has speakers on top of it’s hinge  and it is strong enough to use when you are presenting a business plan. The laptop uses the Dolby Audio software. The Lenovo ThinPad Yoga 260 has an active stylus pen. The stylus pen gives the user 2,048 level of pressure for a perfect drawing and handwriting encounter. It weighs less than an ounce and it is 4.5 inches long. It also comes with a WRITEiT app. This gives the use the ability to write text directly into any webpage. Windows 10 has a built in handwriting keyboard that you can use. The writing area is located at the base of the screen and this gives you an advantage. Lenovo has been known to have good keyboards. The Lenovo ThinPad Yoga 260 keyboard gives you 2 millimeters of travel.  By this standard you are going to commit very few mistakes because you are not bottoming out. It’s 2.2 inch buttonless touchpad will give you a pleasant and precise navigation experience. This is because the matte texture has very good traction. The Lenovo ThinPad Yoga 260 comes with a TrackPointing stick. It is located between the G and H keys. You can use the stick to navigate, accentuate text and draw boxes more accurately than using the touchpad. It comes with a lot of ports. On the left side you can spot 1 USB port, 1 miniDisplay port, an optional smart card reader and 1 connector. This can be used for OneLink+ Dock accessory. The right side has another USB port, 1 HDMI- out port, 1 audio jack, a Kensington lock, a microSD card reader and a sim card slot. The power and audio buttons are located also on the right side.

The Lenovo ThinPad Yoga 260 comes with the usual wide fingerprint reader and you just have to press it instead of swiping it.. This laptop remains cool .In full usage the touchpad  was cool at 81 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s keyboard and bottom came up with a score of 90 degrees. This is below the category level of 95 degrees Fahrenheit. This model did very good in productivity tests that included multitasking and even spreadsheets.. It scored 6,027 on the Geek bench 3. This is a test for overall performance. This was way ahead of the category average score of 4,796.  In the3DMark Fire Strike Test, it had a score of 767, just above the category average score of 748.26. I suggest for users not to use this laptop for playing games The Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 260 has a battery life of almost 8 hours. For me this is good enough. This laptop starts with the entry model that costs $990 and it comes with this configuration. You get a Corei3-6100uprocessor, 13660 x 780 display, 4 GB of RAM and 128GB SSD. Any use user can upgrade this to a Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD. The screen can be upgraded to 1080.
