Fujitsu Lifebook E736
I will have to be straight to the point on
this matter. If you are not thinking much about the cost, then this could be a
very good laptop for all businessmen out there. It is quite expensive because
this configuration cost about $2900. The good thing about this laptop is that it
is reliable and it will do extensive work for you without sacrificing quality.
It’s manufacturer’s say it looks beautiful. Personally I don’t find it
attractive but it does function so well. This is an Ultrabook and it is 20mm
thick. It weighs 1.6 pounds. The Fujitsu
Lifebook E736 has a lid that is composed of magnesium. It has a palm rest that
is made from aluminum. This is nice because it gives the user a sense of
smoothness. I just wonder how they were able to place 32GB of memory into this
13.3 notebook. This is a great accomplishment on their part. It uses it’s typical
look that has a gunmetal lid that
exposes the famous S logo plus a red border that goes around it. The display panel
is rather adaptable. The keys are so pleasant to touch and the keyboard has a
longer travel time. It has a large touchpad that reacts very well. It has a
fingerprint reader that you can see on the palm rest and it is near the really
small speakers. The sound system here is
quite good. Above the keys, you can spot the WIFI on and off, 5 status lights and
eco mode buttons.
These are the specifications. The Fujitsu Lifebook E736 has a CPU Intel Core
17-6600U processor ( 4MB cache, 2.6 GHz base frequency, a full turbo frequency
of 3.4GHz ). It comes with an Intel HD
Graphics 530 ( 300 MHz, base frequency, 1.05GHz of full frequency ). The RAM is 32GB DDRS-2133. This is the highest it can accommodate. The Fujitsu Lifebook E736 has
a 13.3 inch full HD IGZO display. The storage is a 256GB OPAL FDE SATA SSD with full disk encryption. These are the
ports: it has, 2 x audio ports for
headphones and microphone, 2x digital microphones, 3 x USB 3.0 ports, VGA port,
a full -size Display Port, Ethernet port , Docking connector for port
replicator, Smartcard slot, SD card slot, SIM card slots for models that have 3G or 4G. For connectivity purposes it carries a 4G/LTE modem, 802.11ac WI-FI,
Bluetooth. You also get a fingerprint processor, TPM 2.0, Kensington Lock
support and this for your own security. The weight is 3.5 pounds. If you think that the ultrabook is costly, you
can decide to downgrade your processor just a bit. Do not get the extra battery, the 24 GB memory
and the port replicator. Be sure to double your storage capabilities. If you do
this, the price will go down to as much as $1330
There
is a lot of power in the Fujitsu Lifebook E736. It passed all the Benchmark tests
with flying colors. The 3DMark Skydiver gave it 3,979 points; the Firestrike 956
points’ the Cloud Gate 5,883 points, Ice Storm 57,959 points and the Ice Storm
Extreme 42,279 points. In the PCMark 8 Home test it registered 2,931 points, In
the PCMark 8 creative test it registered 2,810 points. With the PC Mark 8 Work
test it registered 3,247 points. In the CineBench Open GL test it registered
45.46. In the GeekBench Single-Core test it received a mark of 3,710 and in the
Multi-core test it got a score of 7,503. These scores are fantastic and this is
what makes this machine great for business because it can do so many things
simultaneously. Lastly, the Battery can last for 12 hours.
