HTC U Ultra
The HTC smartphones a was famous for it’s metal phones. The other smartphone companies started to
follow them and I believe this is the reason that HTC U Ultra has come up with
a design that is almost made entirely of glass One thing nice about this phone
is that it carries the HTC’s
artificially intelligent Sense Companion. It’s looks are just fantastic. Smartphones can
look good but it must perform well too. This smartphone was released last January
2017 and it cost $750.This smartphone was released last January 2017 and it
cost $750. Here are the full configurations. The HTC U Ultra has a touch screen
and the screen size is 5.7 inches. The measurement of this smartphone is 162.41
x 79.7. The HTC U Ultra uses a 300mAh battery and it is non-removable. It comes
in colors like: Sapphire Blue, Brilliant Blue, Cosmetic Pink, black and Ice white.
It has a resolution of 1440 x 2560 megapixels. The Processor is a Qualcomm
Snapdragon 821 2.15 GHz Quad-Core. It has 4GB of RAM. The internal storage is
64GB and can be expanded. This smartphone also has a microSD card slot. The
rear camera is 12-Ultrapixel and the front camera has 16-megapixel. Of course,
the camera has a flash. It uses the Android 7.0 Operating System and the Skin
is HTC Sense 7. This phone comes with a Global System for Mobile Communications
( GSM ). The HTC U Ultra comes with a
Nano-SIM with 3G, 4G/LTE. It has the following sensors: a compass/magnetometer,
proximity sensors, acceloremeter and Gyroscope.
This almost all glass smartphone back is curved on it’s four
corners. This phone has been ionized .
When you stare at the phone, the color changes depending on the light that is
in your vicinity or right above you. Since this smartphone is almost made
entirely of glass it is prone to marks. You must be careful with this phone.
The phone glass will break the moment it falls. It’s quite slim at 8mm. The
metal frame on it is where you can find the power button, volume rocker, nano
sim, microSD card slot and USB-C port. One thing it does not have is a
headphone jack. It should have had a microphone jack. This phone has so much power but thanks to it’s
slim built, you will not notice it. With it’s 1440 x 2560 resolution that is
equivalent to almost 513 pixels per inch, means that you will have very nice
looking images and it becomes so vivid. With the LCD panel, the contrast is
just good. I cannot say it’s great. This smartphone also has a secondary screen
that measures 2.05 inches. It doesn’t play a major part in this smartphone but
it can work if you want to use it for 3rd party applications. This
secondary screen is not always on. It stands
up only when you get notifications and
when you upturn your phone. It has a 160 x 1040 resolution and this Is just
right for reading what is written on the screen. This screen is useful for
WhatsApp, Facebook, Messenger, Gmail and others. It won’t drain your battery as
long as you do not use it frequently.
The HTC U Ultra
runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat. The Android 7.0 on this smartphone has been
spruced up and offers new features. According to the manufacturers, the Sense
Companion is like another brain put in to your smartphone. The Snapdragon 835
that the HTC U Ultra has gives it a lot of power. it’s faster and it does
conserve a lot of energy .This smartphone can last for at least one day and a
half. This is provided that you do not do a lot of streaming or watching
videos. If you use the fast charger, it will take you 2 hours load up fully
your battery. This is an impressive
looking phone that performs well.
