    Computer advancement has been on the rise and there has been much improvement since five years ago. Now the hardware in computers has changed tremendously.  There was a time that we had 1mb hard drive and then 256GB hard drives. Now we have 500GB - 1 Terabyte of hard drive. One terabyte of hard drive is the maximum you can have for a laptop. For a Desktop PC you can have even three terabytes of hard drive. Everything just keeps on expanding. We don’t know what tomorrow will bring but everything just keeps improving. Take for example the graphic card.. Now you have the high end GPU: Nvidia GEForce GTX 180 TI. It could be used for gaming. I find the price level a little bit high at $699. It has a good gaming performance. You also have the AMD Radeon RX Vega 64which will cost $499. There is the AMD Radeon RX 580. It gives you a very good 1080p performance. The price is just $380. For the entry level GPU, you can have an AMD Radeon RX 460. It is good for 1080light gaming and it cost only $114.99. It all depends on what is your screen resolution. You can still use The old 256, 512 or 1 GB GPU MB card. Just be sure that you have the right resolution for it. Before we use to have the 4 bit later the 32 bit and now the 64 bit.

     From Old to New Software  -  Microsoft, Apple and even Google are always coming out with new software and operating system . Microsoft came out with Windows 95 in April 24, 1995. We have gone through Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8. It’s now Windows 10 and we are in the year 2017. Their Operating system keeps on changing. They are trying to constantly improve their operating system.  Microsoft wants to improve their operating systems. Their goal is to get a better performance each time they come up with a new operating system.

We used to have only 256 MB system for computer memory. Today we can have over 30GB that our computers can manage effectively.  3. Watching videos and streaming - You can do this now because of Netflix and iflix  plus other entertainment apps. Your computer can be hooked up to your television and music equipment. Ten years ago you would never imagine these things happening.

4. How the gaming industry has grown - The gaming industry has grown leaps and bounds. Before you can only play a game with yourself.  Now you can play games with people you don’t even know and they are located in different countries. This is because software advancement has gained a lot of grounds. There are software engineers now that are so good in making games and they are selling it for a profit.

5. What Social media and networking has achieved - The biggest social media is facebook and this has allowed persons to get in contact with friends that they have not seen for a long time.  Networking was not heard about a decade ago and it is now a norm.
