UMI Plus E

UMI is a China based company and is known in many parts of the world as an electronic and technology service provider. It is well known in 220 countries. UMi  has decided to go in to the making of smartphones. It started with UMI plus and now it has improved the original version. The UUMI Plus E (E is for extreme. ) It’s now the cheapest smartphone you can get that has 6GB of RAM and a Helio P20 chipset. It might be the cheapest in the market but it has outstanding features and specifications.

These are the following configurations Of the UMI Plus E. It comes with an Android 6.0 Marshmallow Operating System. This phone has a Front Touch ID, unlocks in 1.03 milliseconds and is multifunctional, the processor is a MTK Hello P20MT6757 A53 2.3GHz. The UMI Plus E uses the GPU Mali-T880 MP 900 MHz, 6GB of RAM Samsung eMCC5 1+LpDDR4, 64GB of ROM ( Read only Memory ). The Battery is a 400 mAh 4.35V. It uses the  Quick charge PE+2.5a/A(5V/7V/9V)) 1.35A(12V). The Display size is 5.5 inch screen is ShHARP LTPS (25D ARC Screen). The glass on the Display is a T2x-1 Glass and the resolution is 1920x1080 pixels. The rear camera is a 13MP Samsung 31.8 camera with 5 element lens, continuous shooting, Panorama, PDAF auto-focus, Two Tone flash. The Front camera is a 5.0MP Galaxy Core GC5005 camera and video is 1080, 2k, 4k.  For Connectivity purposes, it uses the following bands. GSM 850(B5)/900(B8)/1800 (B3)/1900(B2), WCDMA 850(B5)/1800(B3)/2600(B7)800(B20) up to 300Mbps. You can opt for Dual SIM Dual standby or 1 Micro SIM card and 1 TF card. Both of these SIM slots can be used simultaneously with 4G. There is a default slot, an LTE service and 1 GSM, 1 USB Type-C.  For WI-FI purposes it uses the 802.11a/b/g/n 2.4GHz/5GHz. It comes with a Bluetooth 4.1 and has a built in GPS. The sensors on this smartphone are as follows: G- Sensor, Glonass, P-  Sensor, L- Sensor, Acceloremeter, Gyroscope , Hall switch. This phone comes in all black color.

   The UMI Plus E has an outstanding design and I seem to think that it wants to compete with higher end smartphones. This phone has an aluminum alloy unibody design. It comes with a 2.5D arc 5.5 inch LTPS full HD screen display that has  D polishing. Because of it’s narrow bezel, it  has a higher screen to body ratio. It also uses the T2X-1 for glass protection. What you have here is a smartphone that can be held with one hand and it will not slip away.  It has an excellent feel to it. You have one button on the down part of the smartphone that can be used as a fingerprint reader. There are 3 other buttons, one is for the camera, the other is for the power and also there is one for the volume.  This phone is terrific because it comes with several nice features like a dual- flash 13 megapixel camera that has a Samsung sensor and it can record 4k videos. It has a front facing 5 megapixel camera that you can use for selfies. You get all of these things for the price of $270. The UMI Plus E is powerful and this is because of the combination of the x20 with 6GB of RAM and EMMC 5.1 storage. UMI is a newcomer in this industry but it wants to give it’s competitors a real fight.  It does not have NFC capabilities ( NFC for your information is a st of protocols  that enables 2 electronic devices , one of which is a portable device. This could be a smartphone so that communication can be established by bringing them within 1.6 inches of each other). With that said, I still think it is a good buy.The battery can last for at least a day or two.
