Xiaomi Notebook Air 13

   The Xiaomi Notebook Air 13 is a new player in the laptop market.  There is no other laptop that we can compare this notebook with. At first glance, you will notice that it looks like the MacBook. This notebook logo is not visible at once. This is because the logo is located just at the bottom of the display cover. The entire body is made of aluminum with the exception of the touchpad and the thin display frame. The laptop is quite sturdy and stable. It only has one hinge. The hinge is quite strong and well adjusted. You can open the display cover with one hand. It has slim display frames and it’s quite condensed.    As I said the Xiaomi Notebook Air 13 is an all metal design that comes with 2 colors silver and gold. It does not look as good as the MacBook but it has a credible performance. They used the sandblasting process and this is good because it has more grip and it minimizes fingerprint stains. This notebook is 14.8mm thick. It’s rather thin and light than other notebooks. It’s 1920 x 1080 FHD resolution will give any user 300nits of brightness. You will have a viewing angle of 170 degrees. The Xiaomi Notebook Air 13 gives you bright images and nice colors. The bezel is quite narrow at 5.59mm width. The ratio of the screen body is 80.1 %. This notebook comes with 5 rubber mats, a tier of cooling wind holes and 2 AKG custom speakers. The audio quality is quite good. The Xiaomi Notebook Air 13 comes with a power adapter.  It is supported by 1C quick charging. You can use the USB Type-C port for 1C quick charging. If you do this, you’ll have 50% charge in half an hour. This laptop has a full size backlit keyboard. The key caps are silver in color and they have a nice touch and feel to it. This notebook has a white keyboard backlight. The manufacturer says this makes the visual effects look good. You can type for a long time and you will have a pleasant feeling. On the left size of this notebook you’ll see a full size HDMI port, USB 3.0 port and 3.5mm earphone port. The right size features a USB 3.0 port, a USB Type-C port and a power notification. The 720p camera is located on top and there is a light sensor on the left. On the top you can see a stereo microphone lineup that can be used for different purposes like video talking and network voice.

  The processor used in the Xiaomi Notebook Air 13 performed well in the Cinebench R15 test . On the multi core test it scored 291cb scores and 117cb in the single core test.  The 3D Mark Cloud Gate test showed that this notebook had a score of 12019 and this is quite high. The reading speed of this laptop is 1306.07MB/s. The average writing speed for this category is 261.28 MB/s. I would say that the average battery life of this notebook is 6 hours and not 9.5 hours that the manufacturer of this notebook says. I still think that the Xiaomi Notebook Air 13 is still a good notebook to acquire because it provides good performance and is a well-balanced notebook.
